A compassionate and skilled multidisciplinary dentist, Dr. Rastakhiz believes in the value of providing focused, individualized care and preventive, less-invasive dentistry. He prioritizes giving each patient his full attention, tailoring treatments to their unique needs and takes pride in his work. Dr. Rastakhiz enjoys forming meaningful, long-term relationships with his patients. He is passionate about dentistry and the opportunity it provides to make a positive impact in the lives of his patients. His team is selected and trained to align with his philosophy of compassionate personalized care.
Personal Life:
Dr. Rastakhiz has lived most of his life in the San Francisco Bay Area, now residing in Palo Alto with his high school sweetheart, their two children, and two cats. A dedicated Buffalo Bills fan, he enjoys following sports, reading, poetry, swimming, and meditating. But most of all cherishes time spent with his family and friends.
Maria is our dedicated and skilled dental hygienist with over 20 years of experience. A graduate of the Dental Hygiene Program at Foothill College, she is passionate about educating patients on the importance of oral health and implementing preventive dental care practices.
Outside of the dental office, Maria enjoys gardening, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
With over 30 years of experience managing dental practices and a keen eye for detail, she ensures everything runs smoothly and every visit is seamless and stress-free for our patients.
Rachel is as kind and caring to our patients and staff as she is great at running the front office!
A graduate of Los Altos High School and Foothill Dental Assisting College, Marcel brings skill, dedication, and a calming presence to Palo Alto Smiles.
Aside from his positive energy and dental skills, he just might be the biggest 49ers fan in the Bay Area!
